Jungle Belles Presents Wildlife Conservation Award for Women
Jungle Belles is thrilled to announce the launch of our award which aims to recognize the efforts of women who are making a significant impact in the field of wildlife conservation.
The Jungle Belles’ Wildlife Conservation Award for Women looks forward to celebrating and honouring the tireless efforts of women dedicated to protecting and preserving our planet’s precious wildlife. The award seeks to acknowledge and reward their outstanding contributions, inspiring others to follow in their footsteps and make a positive difference.
Award Criteria
The award will be given to women who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and leadership in their conservation work. The criteria for selection include:
1. Achievements in wildlife conservation, research, or education.
2. Demonstrated commitment to protecting and preserving endangered species, habitats, and ecosystems.
3. Innovative approaches to conservation, including community engagement, sustainable development, and policy-making.
4. Leadership and mentorship in promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment in ground-level forest jobs.
5. Skill Development amongst women in villages close to the forests.
Nomination Process
To nominate a deserving woman, please submit the following information:
1. Name and contact details of the nominee.
2. A summary (max 250 words) outlining the nominee’s conservation work, achievements, and impact.
3. Supporting materials (e.g., articles, reports, videos, testimonials) demonstrating the nominee’s commitment to wildlife conservation.

The winner will be announced in October where she will receive a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/-.
Deadline
Nominations for the first year’s award will close on Sunday,15th September 2024. We encourage the participants to submit their nominations early for timely consideration.
